1 cup cooking oil

chili powder

1 tbsp chili powder

shrimp

red onion

fresh garlic

1 head fresh garlic

soy sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce

white onion

seafood seasoning

2 tbsp seafood seasoning

red pepper flake

1 tbsp red pepper flake

lime juice

¾ cup lime juice

cucumber

hot pepper sauce

1 fl oz hot pepper sauce

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix lime juice, soy sauce, chili powder, seafood seasoning, red pepper flakes, and El Yucateco Marisquera Red hot sauce to make the spicy shrimp sauce.

2. Season shrimp with seafood seasoning and fry until they just change color. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same oil, melt butter and sauté minced garlic and chopped white onion.

4. Add shrimp back in and pour over the spicy sauce. Toss until coated.

5. Layer cucumber and red onion on a plate, top with shrimp, and drizzle on extra sauce if desired.
