This bold and buttery spicy shrimp dish combines succulent shrimp with a spicy, buttery sauce featuring El Yucateco Marisquera Red hot sauce, lime juice, and a mix of flavorful spices. It's served with fresh cucumber and red onion for a refreshing contrast.

What you need

cup cooking oil

tbsp chili powder

lb shrimp

red onion
head fresh garlic

tbsp soy sauce

white onion

tbsp seafood seasoning

tbsp red pepper flake

cup lime juice

cucumber

fl oz hot pepper sauce
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix lime juice, soy sauce, chili powder, seafood seasoning, red pepper flakes, and El Yucateco Marisquera Red hot sauce to make the spicy shrimp sauce. 2. Season shrimp with seafood seasoning and fry until they just change color. Remove and set aside. 3. In the same oil, melt butter and sauté minced garlic and chopped white onion. 4. Add shrimp back in and pour over the spicy sauce. Toss until coated. 5. Layer cucumber and red onion on a plate, top with shrimp, and drizzle on extra sauce if desired.
