A hearty and traditional Mexican bean stew, slow-cooked and packed with a variety of flavorful meats including bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo, and chicharron for a rich and satisfying meal.

What you need

lb ham

lb chorizo

oz jalapeno

bunch cilantro
lb sausage

lb beans

lb bacon
Instructions
1. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the skillet. 2. Add the cooked beans to a large pot, then add the crispy bacon. 3. In the same skillet with bacon fat, cook the sausage and ham until browned. Add the mixture to the pot with the beans. 4. In a separate skillet, cook the chorizo until done. Add the cooked chorizo to the pot. 5. Stir in the jalapeños and salt. 6. Add the chicharron and fresh cilantro to the pot and stir to combine. 7. Bring the entire mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer to allow the flavors to meld together.
