Instructions
1: Apply oil to the beef tongue. 2: Add salt to the beef tongue. 3: Add pepper to the beef tongue. 4: Add hickory pellets to your smoker and set temperature to 275 degrees. 5: When temperature has been reached, place the beef tongue in the smoker. 6: Insert meat thermometer to monitor temperature. 7: When beef tongue reaches 160 degrees, place it in a pan with 10 ounces of water. Cover with foil and reinsert meat thermometer. 8: When temperature reaches 195, check for doneness by peeling skin. If there is resistance, place back in the smoker and check when temperature reaches 202 degrees. 9: Let beef tongue rest for 20 minutes before slicing or chopping. 10: Make some tacos and enjoy!View original recipe
