Smoked Sweet Ribs

A recipe for sweet smoked ribs, starting with mustard and a honey hog rub, smoked with apple pellets and spritzed with apple juice, then wrapped with honey, Parkay, brown sugar, and tiger sauce, and finished with BBQ sauce.

What you need

cup brown sugar

mustard

fl oz honey

pork ribs

fl oz bbq sauce
oz rub
dried apples
Instructions
1. Remove the membrane from the pork ribs. 2. Apply mustard generously on both sides of the ribs. 3. Season both sides with Meat Church Honey Hog Rub. 4. Preheat your pellet grill/smoker to 250°F. 5. Place the ribs in the smoker and smoke for 2.5 hours using apple pellets. 6. During this initial smoking period, spritz the ribs with apple juice every 20 minutes. 7. After 2.5 hours, wrap the ribs in foil with honey, Parkay, brown sugar, and tiger sauce. 8. Return the wrapped ribs to the smoker for another hour. 9. Remove the ribs from the foil. 10. Place the unwrapped ribs back in the smoker for 30 minutes to firm up. 11. Apply Blue Hogs BBQ Sauce Original to the ribs during the last few minutes of cooking or after removing them from the smoker.View original recipe
