Smoked Ribs (McRib Style)

Recipe for smoked pork ribs, prepared in the style of the McRib sandwich. The ribs are smoked low and slow, spritzed with apple juice, then wrapped with butter and more apple juice for tenderness, and finished unwrapped for bark.

Instructions
Preheat your smoker to 250°F. Place the pork ribs in the smoker. During the initial smoking phase (before wrapping), spritz the ribs with apple juice approximately every 20 minutes. Continue smoking for 3 hours. After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the smoker and wrap them tightly in foil along with some butter and a splash of apple juice. Return the foil-wrapped ribs to the smoker for an additional 1.5 hours. Finally, unwrap the ribs and place them back in the smoker for another 30 minutes to finish and develop a good bark.View original recipe
